Consulting pays the bills, but it doesn't soothe the soul. For that, there are more important pursuits in life.

My real interest is writing. I am currently working on several books, primarily in the science fiction genre, though I have been known to delve into humor and mainstream fiction. Alas, as of yet, I have not published anything, but I will keep working at it until I do.

On occasion, I write non-fiction -- mostly articles on training and performance management. These can be found on my Business Design Systems website in the Encyclopedia of Change Management.

This site is designed to be a repository for my editorial and political writings. As a science fiction writer, I find that most of my inspiration comes from observing the way people currently interact with their universe, and then asking the question, "What would the world be like if they interacted differently?" The answers to some of these questions leads to sci fi -- the answers also lead to a series of political, philosophical, and moral views that I call "Dangerous Thinking."
